The MM210 mini module from Velleman is a small but powerful amplifier for a wide range of applications. It is very efficient so ideal for battery powered applications e.g. MP3 player, melody generator, intercom, sound effects, headphones, radio receiver, PC sound card, musical instrument, ... Comes complete with board-to-wire connectors
which matches standard breadboard pitch. It has a presettable gain, overload and short-circuit protected and runs on a single rail power supply.
